At the Movies: One Day

The romantic film One Day opened in U.S. theaters yesterday. The film was adapted by David Nicholls from his 2009 novel of the same name and stars Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess as as star-crossed would-be lovers, whose lives are presented in 20 one-day glimpses spanning 20 years.

There are two versions of the cover art for the soundtrack. One is for the U.K. CD being distributed by Universal Island Records (below top). The other is for the digital download version from  UMG's HIP-O Records (below bottom). Both appear to feature the same 17 tracks. The album includes four tracks from the score by composer Rachel Portman and songs by Elvis Costello, Tears For Fears, and other various artists.
