The computer-animated comedy Mars Needs Moms was released by Walt Disney Pictures in 3D, 2D and IMAX today. Directed by Simon Wells and based on a book of the same title by Berkeley Breathed the film stars both Seth Green and Seth Dusky as the main character Milo. Green did the physical perfomance captured by animation technology Dusky did the voiceover. The animation was created by Robert Zemeckis' studio ImageMovers Digital.
The score was composed by John Powell. The soundtrack album has been released as a digital download from Amazon.com and iTunes. The album cover is a square version of the movie poster. Sadly, it does not show the amazing quality of the computer animation in the film. It is a parody of the famous abdution scene from Close Encounters of the Third Kind (above right).
