Brooklyn-based duo Kaiser Cartel posted the video for Blue Sky on their YouTube channel today. I have been looking forward to seeing a video from their current album Secret Transit since the promo art (right) was added to the gallery. The album cover (below) is very interesting and it took me some time to get a decent version of it for the AAX gallery.
The promo version of the cover uses a bolder version of the font and the copy is in white rather than blue. I think I like the promo cover a little bit better. The version of the cover being uses on Amazon.com is too saturated and the one on iTunes is very muddy.
The music video contains some nice visuals that are consistent with the art direction of the album cover. I like the way the director utilizes interesting props like a movie projector and pup tents. It held my attention and the music is worth listening to as well.
