New and Notable: David Guetta and Kelly Rowland

I’ve been waiting for the big summer club hit to take off and it looks like When Love Takes Over by David Guetta and Kelly Rowland is the first contender. David Guetta’s video appeared on YouTube a few weeks ago and has received over 3.5 million views. The official Virgin Records  video was posted to YouTube last week.

The Guetta video has some cool animation that goes with the cover art of the single. The official video features Kelly Rowland on a beach. I’ll post both videos here. By the way, it is interesting that Guetta doesn’t credit Rowland on his YouTube video. It simply reads “David Guetta” — as if Rowland hasn’t totally eclipsed him as the star of this project. David who?
